For more than 30 years, BVI PhysIOL® has been manufacturing a range of innovative products designed in partnership with ophthalmic surgeons and in close cooperation with specialized research centers and universities. Their expertise covers all steps of development and manufacture of intraocular lenses extending from polymer chemistry to sterilization processes, responding to the strictest requirements in quality.
The FINE Technology combines two profiles offering patients an intermediate vision without impairing near and distance visual acuities. This concept was designed to reduce the loss of light caused by diffractive profiles.
Available Models:
The FINE technology was the first trifocal technology introduced to the market in 2010. Sine 2010, over 700,000 lenses have been implanted, with 95% of patients achieving complete spectacle independence at all distances.
Combination of 2 Technologies
The FINE technology is the first and only optic that combines both convolution and apodization technologies on the entire optic surface. Convolution reduces and limits photopic phenomena, and apodization optimizes the percentage of energy for far vision with the opening of the pupil.
Double C-loop Platform
The double C-loop platform is an innovative platform developed to ensure perfect refractive and rotational IOL stability.
